Where to park

Getting to Viareggio is very easy, even by public transport. Viareggio train station is about a mile from the bed and breakfast (20 minutes walk) and has good connections to the main cities.
However, if you have decided to travel by car, parking in Viareggio can be a challenge.

Almost all parking lots in the center of Viareggio are to be paid. Villa Giulia does not have its own parking area but offers to its customers a day or a week pass at a reduced price, valid for 24 hours or longer.

With the ticket issued by Villa Giulia, it is possible to park in the streets close to the building, which is the B zone (the one marked yellow on the map).

In addition, daily “scratch and park” tickets (the price is 8 euros per day) are available at kiosks and tobacconists and allow parking in all the different paid areas of the city.

The streets of Viareggio where parking is free are:
– via Einaudi corner via Fratti
– via Nino Bixio
– Old Station area
However, these streets are not very close to Villa Giulia
