Gabriella & Rutger

We are a close Italian-Dutch team who has chosen to settle in Viareggio, after leaving Amsterdam, as we have literally fallen in love with this magnificent location. Here, you can enjoy the beach within minutes, immerse yourself in a mountain trail, or visit art cities such as Florence, Pisa, and Lucca. 

Rutger is a very joyful person. He was born in Amsterdam and he speaks Dutch, English and a few words of Italian. He is a graphic designer and he was a Design teacher in a design school in Amsterdam. Rutger loves any kind of sport (from hockey to surfing). He goes everywhere on his bike and he likes both the sea and mountains. 

Gabriella is a creative and caring person. She was born in Turin and she speaks Italian, English, basic Dutch and Spanish. She is an engineer and she has always worked in automotive, in the past years in the marketing and communication areas. Gabriella loves to spend time with family and friends. She is called “the feeder” because of her tendency to overcook for her guests. 

We have two children, Giulia and Matteo, who enjoy living in a place where there are always new people coming and sharing something with them.
