Casoli

A beautiful mountain village.  There are several, but Casoli has something very special. This is where the founder (Murabito) of Sgraffiti comes from. Sgraffiti is the application of different layers of colour on a wall and then you remove layers at your own discretion. Beautiful Graffiti can therefore be seen throughout the village. The images relate to the region or the inhabitants of the village. In May there is the Graffiti a Casoli event, when artists and students from various art academies create new images with this technique. There is also a Murabito Museum.
